My name is Talia Dinger. I am studying for a BFA with a focus in painting. I also have an interest in illustrations and sculpting. I typically work in acrylic paint, but like to bounce around with different material. My art reflects my mental health, so I like to use whatever medium feels natural with the emotion I display. I make my art to help myself. It helps me understand myself better and where my thoughts and emotions come from, why I feel that way, and how I come to terms with them. One thing I liked about Colby-Sawyer College is professor Loretta Barnett. I have been with her since the beginning of my time at CSC. She has been supportive by allowing me to express myself while pushing me to get out of my comfort zone, allowing me to reach my full creative potential.
